What is freq 466.075 i think its got someting to do with school security?

If you want to check a specific freq, go to this page http://web.acma.gov.au/pls/radcom/assig ... nge_search

Type in 6000 and 6999 for low and high postcode if it's likely to be WA. Enter the freq in to the LOW FREQUENCY field, leave the other blank and click "Run Enquiry." This one was easy because there was only one entry. Sometimes you get pages of hits.

To be more specific for that frequency, the repeater/tower is in Canning Mills.

You got it, Education Security.

Strangely, their vehicles don't seem to use that channel, instead they have VHF mid band (big whips on the back) and a clever on-board repeater system that lets them use their handhelds through the car but using a different UHF channel.
