Central Park Trunking System

Hi all,
If anyone is interested in making a stick with all the ID's found on the Central park trunk, please post them here.
For reference, these are the frequencies you need programmed in to listen to the Central Park Trunk.

53232 - Bus company, qantas/virgin terminal?
52208 - Another Bus or Limo Service freo to base, dropped off
54704 - Car Hire Company
3216 - Shoe Shop, has a Joondalup, Carine and Freo branch.
I believe this is Jim Kidd Sports, saw them with a Motorola Radio today
16 - Unknown
53328 - 94.5 Radio Broadcast - Heard traffic reports on it, the same audio that goes on air.
53296 - Also a radio station, Hamish and Andy, 92.9 right?
50032 - ?? Delivery Company I think.
53424 - Another Radio Station - 6IX
53936 - Another Radio Station - 97.3 Coast FM
52880 - Some type of transport company?
2320 - Courier Company?[/b]

The radio stations you are hearing are, if I am correct, are the individual station talkgroups for the Australian Traffic Network. Each Radio station has a separate talkgroup.

PS At nighttime you will probably hear security companies with alpha-numeric callsigns and co-ordinators with calls such as "Base" and "Control"

I guess so, they install them for Motorola.

Can a non trunking scanner pick these up? I've never tried,
I suppose everything will be all over the place though

Yes you did. You can receive the transmissions but you wont follow the conversation (talk group) as it moves across frequencies like a trunk tracker will.

YES.. memo (astib group)owns memo trunking on central park and managers Motorola Trunking on central park

The Motorola Smartnet Controller can only handle a maximum of 28 channels (frequencies) per System, and you may notice that the Central Park Site has more than 28 frequencies, so there may be a second system on that Site, or the excess frequencies may just be in Reserve.
A little bit of history.
The ACMA tends to organise frequencies in the recognised Trunked Radio Bands into 'Blocks' and 'Groups', with each Block in the 800 MHz Band comprising four Groups of 5 frequencies, thus the Central Park Site breaks down as follows:-
CENTRAL PARK SITE - PERTH
Block 1:
Group 1: 865.0125, 866.0125, 867.0125, 868.0125, 869.0125
Group 2: 865.5125, 866.5125, 867.5125, 868.5125, 869.5125
Group 3: 865.2625, 866.2625, 867.2625, 868.2625, 869.2625
Group 4: 865.7625, 866.7625, 867.7625, 868.7625, 869.7625
Block 5:
Group 2: 865.6125, 866.6125, 867.6125, 868.6125, 869.6125
Group 3: 865.3625, 866.3625, 867.3625, 868.3625, 869.3625
Group 4: 865.8625, 866.8625, 867.8625, 868.8625, 869.8625
Block 6:
Group 1: 865.1375, 866.1375, 867.1375, 868.1375, 869.1375
If a Client requires less than 6 channels, they are generally assigned one Group. If they require 6 to 20 channels, they are generally assigned channels from the same Block.
If there is more than one system on the Central Park Site, then there will be more than one System ID and associated Control Channel/s. So, has anyone come up with ANY System IDs yet?
Information on the Trunked Radio 'Blocks' and 'Groups' is contained in the Radiocommunications Assignment and Licensing Instruction (RALI) LM 8, titled 'Frequency Assignment Requirements for the Land Mobile Service', which is available from the ACMA website.

Hey that's great work.
I've given up on listening, as I just don't have much time at the moment.
But I do know that Jim Kidd's sport stores use the Central Park Trunk also, can't remember their ID.
