ey i just bought a cheap scanner today from cashies its only got 40 channels and i can only pick up bloody loader operators. just wanted to know what channel is the police channel, i live in australind/bunbury area

At the start of each forum is a set of stickies - some of them will have the info you need. Try

ive tried downloading that but it wont open. and i dont think i can type in the frequencies just scan through the channels. if ya can help me that be cool coz im new to the gadget its a Uniden uh044dp if that helps n im only bout a k away from the local cop shop. cheers for the quick reply

The Uniden uh044dp is a CB radio. You wont get the police with that!

Google the models that are on there. Look around this site and see what the members are using. Try looking under the scanners and recievers section.

You can hear the Bunbury police but not with your UHF CB. The only use for that is going on Channel 2 repeater and talking to other people.
