Radio Station on am

Post by Trish »

Hello all, Can anybody tell me if it's possible to pick up the radio station 6PR? It's an am station on 882. I've tried various ways of entering 882, but haven't had any success.

I have a UBC3000XLT. 8)

Try an old fashioned wireless set or even perhaps a transistor radio. Get them for less than $10 off ebay. DSE have DIY kits so if your that way inclined you could build one. I am not sure that there is anything worth listening to on 6PR unless someone from your family works there and they make you listen to them?

I had an idea this would be the case :(

This could be a loaded question for some people  but why don't scanner manufacturer's have ALL the frequencies on one scanner? Bet there is a scientific answer for this one, however, I'm not au fait with this technology YET.
