Hi, I am totally new to this whole scanning/radio thing. Today i bought my first scanner a uniden ubc72xlt and so far have only been listening to the police. I want to expand a little bit and listen to more broadcasts (especially aviation orientated!!) but im just not sure whats out there. please! any help will be appreciated.

Check out the stickies at the start of each of the forums. There's usually a frequency list in there for new people.

Very true, thats where I picked up most of my frequencies from, or go to for clarrification of a frequency.
