Scanning channels for a trip Perth to Broome?

General questions on scanning from 30 to 3000Mhz. Not sure what you can receive in your area? Here's the place to ask!

Scanning channels for a trip Perth to Broome?

Post by Brett »

Hey guys, just a question for my trip to Broome in Mid December.

What's the recommended channels to monitor on the way up? I'm not sure as yet if I'm going up the coast or through the guts of WA but either way wouldn't mind knowing whats channels are where etc.

Cheers in advance!

Yep that'll take care of the police channels. Brett, if you have enough memory slots in your scanner, program all 64 channels in and set it to search through them and wait till it finds something worthwhile.

Depending on what else you want to listen to, maybe some of the frequencies in the aircraft band, Bushfires / FESA bands, etc.
