Weather satellites

Post by vk6hgr »

I've built a turnstile antenna using parts easily obtained from Bunnings (aluminium tube, PVC pipe, etc) to receive amateur radio satellites and the ISS. Not a lot of luck with the amateur radio side of things yet, but I'm getting some impressive pictures from the old NOAA analogue weather satellites. Receiver is a USB TV tuner.

Anyone else receiving WX or other satellites with a RTL SDR?
