It's a national frequency for the entire vodophone paging network.

I think I have figured out the answer to my last question but how do I know if it is working. The gauge in the top right of PDW keeps going up and down and it says RX-Q where the percentage should be and there are no messages coming up?? Once I installed the audio piping software was I supposed to do anything else??

I've plugged my BC72XLT into my desktop and it's getting the audio through to it with no problem, but I'm not getting any data through, but I can hear requests going through on my Baofeng.

Just off the top of my head I don't think most normal scanners with pass it through correctly without a discriminator tap.
"VKI, NJ050 will you be attending the job?"
"Negative VKI, my desk is bolted to the floor".

I found that PDW would only decode some pages, not all. It worked on Charles Gardiner hospital but didn't work on Vodafone. I ended up using multimon-ng under linux for 100% reliable decodes.

Be interesting to know, based on the laws around radio telecommunications, what they will seek to charge this person with.
