Howdy all,

Ok, so it's been a few years since I bought my UBCD396XT and I am still yet to listen to something digital.
Anybody able to offer some pointers?

Also, I have this list of frequencies...
493.525
498.725
469.650
494.050
499.250

4 of them are digital I know that, but I've yet to been able to listen to them.
I've tried P25, I've tried LTR, Motorola, still clueless.

They are right when they say the UBCD396XT is a technical scanner, there is so much to learn :)

Geez I was hoping someone would tell us something to listen to, sounds like its a little bit dry out there unencrypted.

498.725 is the receive not transmit for 493.525 so a bit useless I think.
Same as 499.250 is the receive for 494.050.

What about the fire tenders at airport.Think there around 500.050 mhz. From Maylands you should have no problem picking them up.

I listen to the airport fire tenders too on 500.825Mhz. It's pretty intersting when they've got fire drills going on + I can hear it loud and clear from Yokine. The P25 quality sounds just like its coming from a mobile phone.. crystal clear!!

Do you have them as P25 One Freq Trunk or P25 Standard?

I've just got mine entered into a standard conventional system/group (along with all my other FESA frequencies) which works just fine. There's really no need to put it into a separate P25 system which is far more complicating to work out

Ok thanks.
So I've been listening to the other freqs's I listed before, which are Skywest Ground radios, but only get the saw tooth noise on one of the channels.
There are 2 channels on those radios, and will be adding a 3rd channel soon.
