Perth Apple Store

Post by Bonez »

Hi all,

I was in the Apple store today and noticed all of the staff had Motorola portable radios on their belt with 1 headphone in the ear. Anyone know the frequency they use, and is it encrypted?

Cheers

They use Motorola DTR2450, 2.4 GHz frequency hopping spread spectrum units. They are impossible to receive using a scanner, but with another unit you MAY and I repeat MAY be able to receive them, providing they are using the factory default mode (10 channels) and have not had their units reprogrammed to their own talkgroup.
