Had a couple of people transmitting on 468.2250 mucking around. Signal was really strong in Waikiki. Lasted about 5 to 7 minutes then that was it.
Stuff like that happen often?
Kids transmitting on Freo Rockigham channel 10pm (ish)

...and for the record, it's extremely easy to come by tranceivers that will tx on the police and various other commercial frequencies. Some have even been for sale on this very forum.
There's nothing illegal about the tranceivers themselves, it's those who illegaly gain a copy of the programming software and self-program the radio to transmit on frequencies that those people have absolutely no right to be on.
It's a big no-no, and if you are caught then it's a massive fine and plenty of time with big bubba in prison.
Moral of the story, don't do it. Ever!
