Hi All.
A frequency to watch out for with the RAC - 470.875Mhz.
Unlike the other RAC frequencies which carry both voice and data (which make them a pain to listen to), this one is just voice.
I'm thinking it's the battery mob but not sure... feel free to post here what you hear

What do you hear on their channels, not being sarcastic I just never thought that people would listen or what they would hear?

Most jobs go through the data channels but they still use that frequency for enquiries.

I did have some RAC frequencies. I got them out of a scanner book but they were listed as being western power.....I have no idea why.
Sometimes you will hear the patrol man asking the radio operator to make a note on the job for whatever reason.
I also know an RAC man and Ive heard him on the radio once or twice.

There's more to scanning than WAPOL and FESA
Plenty to listen to out there, i'm not sure what quite a lot of you out there are going to do with your poor old scanners when the cops go digital!
There's lots of cool stuff to hear, just need to do a bit of research and find out the frequencies.
