Whats happening on the northern train line.They are transfering people to bus services.

Track maintenance this weekend, so rail replacement services are being offered.

Effective: From the evening of Friday 25 February until last service Sunday 27 February 2011

Transperth train services between Clarkson and Perth will be cancelled from the evening of Friday 25 February until last service on Sunday 27 February 2011 due to track upgrades.

The last Joondalup Line services will be:

* to Clarkson departing Perth at 7.15pm
* to Perth departing Clarkson at 7.23pm.

Train replacement bus service 904 will pick up passengers between Clarkson and Perth at the train replacement bus stops near stations while services are cancelled.

Services will resume with the start of timetabled services on Monday 28 February 2011.

Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that train replacement buses may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.

Surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses, including train replacement services.

Extra buses from Private companies are also doing special footy specials this afternoon to and from the game.
