I think PTA Transit Guards should do ALL Public Transport Security. Private security should not even be on the trains (Chubb).

Because they are idiots, from their CEO down to their guards, they're guards are arogant, stupid and think they have the same authority as Transits.

Transit Guards are accoutable, trained and have Police Powers.

The PTA would hire them as per normal, the PTA dont have any problems hiring Transit Guards and normally recieve lots of applications.

This is not what I have heard either, this is from my own experiace working as an operational officer on the railways and seeing and dealing with secureforce officers.

Transit Guards work for the Railways not the Police, they have police powers on all public transport property.

Transit Guards should do all public transport, not just trains.

Plenty of examples--this is a public forum and I am not going to publish them on here.

The PTA budgets for security on the bus network, this would just be an extension of the current Transit Guard Operation. Transit Guards currently have authority to deal with offenders on any PTA property including busses.

as i mentioned before,where is all this money for your plan going to come from??????????????????,you dont have to mention any examples in particular,if you want you could use examples like mr x and mrs y were fighting at a building?
