New Metro Rail and Transperth

What is the difference between NMR and Transperth i see only one thing one is more fancy than the other with there three and six carrage trains

Aren't those the same trains that are running on the Joondalup line also?

yes,

They plan to take them to mandurah when they have finished the mandurah line

the way I read it... Transperth is Transperth, NMR is the name of the project that covers all the recent works - new railcars, railway line to mandurah, extension to clarkson, greenwood station etc

Transperth is all of the public transport services (bus, ferry, train). New MetroRail is the name of the metro rail service only. Got changed from Transperth Trains I believe.
