Bus and Train Frequencies???

Post by Hodgie »

hey, i'm wondering if anyone has a full list of frequencies used on the transperth network.
i've seen the list with the frequencies for the buses but i was on a southern coast bus and heard something on the radio in the bus that wasn't on the list that i was scanning...

The 405 to 409MHz frequencies on Spartacus's list are repeater input frequencies.

Normally we listen on the repeater output, which on the rail system is 9.45MHz higher. So if the list shows 408.750MHz for Westrail (Metro Control) we add 9.45 and we program our scanner for 418.200MHz

Quick question,

I currently have my scanner locked to 418.2500 (not much else interesting to be heard here). Is there a mirror frequency for this? Like a repeater? I have another station programmed in as 485.9500mhz and I'm pretty sure it's the same conversation. *edit* Apparently it's Wilson Security, ignore me :)

Argh. Westrail train security is interesting to listen to but the ANI/Selcall sound sure wears thin rather quickly :smt101

Yes you'll find there are little to no services after midnight on weekdays.
