train drivers

can anyone shed some light on how you become a train driver, and what you need to do? like is there a website that explains it , or is it one of those union run things like the ports where you have to 'know' somebody first?

it depends on what you want to driver: like frieght or passenger. You could try ARG they are looking for drivers atm!
