Mandurah Rail Closure - Stream Request 26/12/21 - 14/1/22

With the closure of the Mandurah rail line from Aubin Grove to the CBD ( https://www.transperth.wa.gov.au/Track- ... e-Shutdown ) I am expecting there to be considerable radio traffic directly related to this to occur. I understand the bus companies and Transperth have migrated to DMR so my analogue scanner is no use. Is anyone with a digital receiver (or SDR I guess) and the ability to stream audio kind enough to be willing to stream the radio for the 3 weeks please? Sorry I have left this a bit late to ask... Closure is 26/12/21 - 14/1/22.

Can't help as I live too far away, but Transperth Railway operations is still analogue and is available on Broadcastify.

If someone can help me with setting a stream up, I'm happy to stream the Mandurah region traffic. They use 3 frequencies (apparently trunking but it doesn't seem like it). I have 2 SDR's and a Pi that I'm happy to use for the cause. I'll be back in Mandurah on the 4th.

Hi, not sure about trunking. They are using the Perth Stadium Event Channels (Transperth Zone).
CH3 - Perth PCEC Temp Bus Station
CH4 - Transdev
CH5 - Path (Keolis Downer)
CH6 - Swan

Oh, I realise beggars can't be choosers but if you haven't decided on a streaming service yet maybe consider setting up a Zello channel. Really simple and is voice activated so between calls it is absolutely silent. I find Broadcastify can have a background hum/hiss constantly when there is no traffic (well it certainly used to - not sure if they applied some processing to clean it up yet). Also Zello has a latency of only 300-500ms (say, around half a second) compared to Broadcastify which has a delay of 30 to 60 seconds. Zello also has the ability to quickly replay past calls (each call is split up by the VOX voice operated switching so you get to jump straight to radio traffic, not trawl through times of silence in one long file - calls are listed in time order). Anyway, just a thought. Thanks again kind stranger!
