Hi Ash773 Retry 473.800 again as I heard rocky traffic today on that channel
I have yet to hear traffic on 473.850.

Thursday i was working all day on Alexander Drve between Central Ave and Inglewood pool and noticed a Transit security car following each of the in and out services to Ballajura, any one have any idea why,other than protecting the driver from hoons boading.

I know all about them when I drove MTT Buses in late 80,s and copped many at night, but one just before a terminus in Dianella and it showered a young lady with glass, I out of that bus like jack rabbit and caught one of them, did he squeel on the other 2, parents made to pay for window plus big police lecture.

I have heard calls on scanner for these incidents but also on Reid Hwy and Warwick area, as heard last night.

Yes, Reid hwy is renown for rocks being thrown at cars at the western end, but never catch the sods.

What I think is weird is that when I tried to search the 473.850 Mhz at ACMA it came up with below results
but none of them is Public Transport Authority

(However I can hear the transmission loud and clear from Cockburn Central ) Felt really weird when I heard it while I was in one of the bus (I forgot to turn down the volume) both the driver's transceiver and my scanner make the same sound It shocked the driver a little bit !

From memory (don't quote me on this) but I believe Fornaro Investments Pty Ltd is what is used for Swan Transit.

EDIT: Best to put postcodes 6000 to 6999 and it narrows it down to three, Fornaro is the only one in the metro at Transwest so I guess I was right.

Yeah, that's the other thing. It won't always be obvious who the licencee is. Some customers rent or lease radios through communcations companies as well.
