Joondalup and Mandurah lines - Service Delays
Effective: Immediately, Tuesday 25 February 2014 at 8.45am
Services on the Joondalup and Mandurah lines are currently delayed due to a technical issue.
Passengers should allow extra travelling time and be aware that delayed trains may not connect with timetabled bus and train services.
Said technical issue appears to be that a train has lost power in the tunnel. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-02-25/p ... section=wa

Midland Line Claisebrook to Midland Closure
6 June 2014

Services will resume with the start of timetabled services on Monday 9 June.
Please remember that surfboards and bicycles are not permitted on Transperth buses. This includes when travelling on our train replacement services.
If you require further assistance regarding service disruptions or planning your journey, please call the Transperth InfoLine on 13 62 13 (TIS: 13 14 50). Hearing or speech impaired? Call via NRS 133 677 and ask for 13 62 13.

Part of me thinks that it's to allow for tunnel maintenance between Claisebrook and East Perth but that would only close that segment of track and services would only be disrupted between Claisebrook and whatever station is closest that they can turn trains around at rather than having the disruption go all the way to midland.

Well that's a bit inconvenient!
Explains why they're saying that services between Perth and Bassendean are not running due to a 'technical issue'...

Midland line closed between Claisebrook and Bassendean and Claisebrook station platforms 3 and 4 are closed so everyone going to perth has to use Platform 1. It's due to an "Incident" of some kind.

That link is now saying "died a short time later in hospital" unfortunately. I believe that's two incidents on the line in two days
EDIT: Actually yesterday's was the Armadale line injuries only.
