i have come over from ACT and would very much appreciate a channel/frequency list for the transit guards so i can program into xts3000

regards
It's in the sticky (look for the "Fastrak security" freqs) but the best channel depends on where you are located. Otherwise, do a search between 417 and 419Mhz. You'll find the metro control freq (train drivers) and the security freqs fairly easily.

Since all the driver and security freqs are linked together you only need to find the one that's clearest in your area.
