A TRANSIT guard has been dragged 20m by a car after confronting the driver who was parked underneath the main walkway at the Perth Bus Station at about 9.55pm yesterday.

When the guard approached the driver, who was sitting in the vehicle with the door open, he reversed knocking the transit worker to the ground and dragging him before speeding off.

Police said the guard was taken to Sir Charles Gardiner Hospital with bruising and lacerations. A Nissan sedan has been seized from a residence in Attadale. Police are investigating.
