Unfortunatly the guards often have to de-train with offenders or do deal with things at stations. Its a matter of luck......kinda like seeing police on the beat.....some times you see heaps sometimes you dont see any.

The fact that you dont see them doesnt mean they're not around. But it would be always good to have more staff.

Cooler,

If your still here mate, ive been trying to find where Secureforce Officers are excempt from Sect 10 of the Weapons Act.

As some of you may have seen Transit Guards are now carrying OC Spray operationally as they are excempt under Section 10 of the Weapons Act.

A couple of Secureforce Officers have been summoned of late for carrying a prohibited weapon ie OC spray as they are not allowed to carry it.

Food for thought.

Ok i have been user Train,Bus last 33 year seen no chubb guards but thay are Guards and Police checking tickets
