City CAT
Hi,
Does anyone know the frequencies for the Perth city CAT services?
I travelled on them daily last week and noticed they all are fitted out with standard Icom IC400-PRO radios. I was catching the Red Cat and all I could see on the screen was something similar to "CDD-CH07"
Obviously if they are using 400pro's then they must be operating somewhere between 450 and 500mhz.
Would be interested in having a listen... no doubt they are using some kind of low powered commercial repeater in the city somewhere. I noticed that in some areas where large buildings got in the way the signal went a bit fuzzy. Some drivers had the volume turned up quite loud while others didn't.
Cheers
