I did exactly the same thing as you did last night with my mag base and Scantenna sitting on top of our patio roof.
I'm close to the airport. What area are you in?

I got identical results minus a couple of them (the marine ones).

The three ABC frequencies are the audio split from TV channel 2 that comes from the TV transmitter up in the hills.

On the 470.525 last night I heard a couple of blokes chit chatting for hours, I don't know if they were taxi drivers or what but they were both mobile, and were both dribbling !!

I got a few air band frequencies but i removed them from the list as i already have them.
I can provide them if you want.

The Surf Lifesaving is a lifesaver frequency (surprise) but had Lifesaver one sending reports to Surfcom on their shark patrols, location etc.

A full list of Surf Life Saving WA is:

Cheers for the list, although not much good for me cause I'm about 30km by road from the nearest beach :)

The airport rhomps in at my house, and I've got pretty much all the airband frequencies I can handle. I am trying to find some more of the on-ground UHF channels that are used. I did find a list but not many of them seem to be active (either that or they are simplex and I'm too far away)
