It has never worked for me and i find it very unreliable, either im not using it right or its just not up to scratch.
i find the ACMA freq. search to be far more reliable.
Just google.com.au "A.C.M.A. frequency and licence seach"

I've been trying it for an hour or so. Either there are a lot of holes in their database or there are lots of UHF freqs being used without authority.
Ta. I was searching ACMA for something like that. I fail at searching.

Two things; a way to look up a freq and see who it might be and also a general spectrum assignment (eg this part of the band is for commercial two-way, this part is for HF broadcast, this part is for aircraft etc etc). I found the ACMA wall chart http://www.acma.gov.au/acmainterwr/radc ... rsp-wc.pdf but it's a bit vague in some areas. Two of my receivers can receive 500kHz-1300Mhz. Time to see what's on the other 99.9%

i think that is what you meant.
If you want to find what is on a particular frequency just type it in each of the boxes

don't worry about the postcode, but it keeps things local
