scanner not picking up any transmissions

hi all i just bought a uniden ubc92xlt and have entered some frequencies(police) etc from you guys but ive had it for a few hrs now and havent heard a thing ive tried to go thru the instruction manual but just arent having any luck pls help muchly appreciated

im havin trouble with the Fremantle channel (469.000). i can only hear the cars calling and not VKI. Anyone else having this problem??

I want police or anything around bunbury is there anything i have to do with the settings that i havent picked up at all with this model ubc92xlt?

How to program Uniden 72XLT / 73XLT / 92XLT / 93XLT

Got the same scanner; fantastic when it works...

Turn it on

1) dial in you channel number
2) press "hold"
2) press "function"
3) press "E"
4) dial in your frequency without the decimal point.
so 468.075 will be 468075
5) press "E"

I hope this helps

not alot of Radio activity in Bunbury mate, you should be hearing something though
