yeah pretty much... so wherever the pic is... u type . Put the link between them to wherever the pic is, and enable the setting as mentioned above.

is there anyway it can be from my pc rather then being hosted on the net?

You don't need to sign up to Imageshack unless the image files are larger than 1.53MB. It's fairly easy to reduce the file size if it's just for a forum.

And for all of our sanity - please make sure your pictures are less than 1.53Mb (preferably less than 50kb!) before attaching them to sigs in this or any other forum!
