Sorry Im a newby :D

The frequency lists in pdf format are protected? any reason? I'm trying to copy all at once to my scanner but cant.
help?

How are you trying to copy the data and can you link to the ones you have tried?

Just highlight, then copy and paste from PDF to excel and tidy up, then paste to Freescan to place in scanner.
the protected PDF's wont let me copy? not sure what u mean about links

I have been using the PDF's on this site

only bought the scanner last thursday and still learning......

The FESA pdf I just tried worked (although Adobe Reader spat out an error). Which exact lists are you trying to copy from? This way we can look into it.

although I beleive those frequencies are now obsolete? and they are using the WAERN 16# ones?

Yes I can't seem to copy paste from there either. But yes they are still often used but out of date, the WAERN network is now mostly used.

you can open the pdf file in microsoft word 2010 if you buy microsoft office 2010 and copy and paste from there.
