Heard some test calls on 415.000.Some came up P-25 i could hear.Some came up ENC.Oh Noooooooooo.Sorry i hope it isnt bad news.Sounded like they said 6DA to pump?Lots of test 1234.

Unlike the police, FESA WAERN etc St John's have kept news of this new network pretty close to their chest. I'd assume they're using Simoco gear since they've used Philips/Simoco gear for eons (http://www.simoco.com.au/SIMOCO-History.html)

SJA Digital encrypted
Sorry to say.Heard some SJA tests today.Most of it comes up encrypted.Some of it did come up P-25 but most was encrypted.I hope im wrong.(415.000)

futher more to my last post, What is P-25? can a normal uniden digital scanner pick these up?

Yes just put 415.00 and save.When youve saved it press yes then go down to audio type press yes again.Make sure it is on all.You should pick it up.Also while your there put in 500.050(airport fire tenders)

I dont have a digital scanner yet, , great, another one going encrypted, I dont quite see why they need encryption, most of ther sensitive data goes over a secure network anyway??? what a waste of money 
next to happen is the cleaning staff at the observation city hotel to go encrypted too.......cant let that sensitive cleaning information get away.........

Only other thing i can pick up with a digital scanner is the airport emergancy services.Apart from that i cant find anymore digital Frequancys.Dont think id pay $1000 for another one.I got preety excited when i heard SJA on digital today.

Every SJA transmit and recieve its also coming up encrypted on 415.000.
