its hard to judge distance, but there seems to be plenty of room between the stretcher on the right and the airway seat. how do you go with airway maintenance from that seat ? :)

Awsome pics mate - cheers for your contribution.... - Not bad for those vehicles to have 2 Stretchers .... as for the Ford Territory - looks impressive with the LED lightbar....

Either way - thanks for contributing those pics..

Gee the Ford Territory sure has a lack of markings up the pointy end. If that was behind you at a set of traffic lights I doubt you would see the barlight in the mirror and thats all there is.

Same as there 'old' Merc down the bottom, doesn't look like that one would stand out at all :(

The attendant seat is not in the right position - it does slide forward however I still find myself kneeling between the seat and the stretcher - or sitting on the spare stretcher to maintain the airway once established.

The ford is really good at night - lights up well - it has strobes in the headlights which turn off when the park break is on hence not being lit in the picture - it does get cars out of your way.

The new merc also has the handbreak on and has heaps of strobes and LED all over it - a few too man really - a bit overboard.

The old mercs need a little face lift and that is exactly what the old ones which we are keeping are getting - they will be fitted out with different light bars and all the livery of the new merc pictured.

Just a quick question

Para: Is it true you still have to be a volunteer before you become paid or has that been done away with ?
