How olds the F100 ?

Looks like it had a markIV P & W Body on it or was it a mark III ?

Either way none off these old ambos should be on the road, sja should be replacing them with ex metro mercs regardless if the sub centre needs it or can afford it.

Whats the sja rule on fleet disposal ?

Qld ambo rule is 300,000klm regardless how old im lead to believe.
Nsw are fleet vehicles so turn them over very quick
Vic well lets not go there
Tassie is about 200,000klm
Nt have no idea
SA are fleet vehicles so up to 150,000

Not 100% sure on the NT vehicles but there were some really old ones floating about e.g. first generation sprinters with the sort of strange auto shifting system. They're like the WA ones that had the weird baseball cap lightbar when the sprinters first came out.

Trouble with the NT is that we get ours from ETT and have worked out it's cheaper to fly people to ETT and drive them back rather than ship them back. And it's meant to be substantially cheaper to do that. They then get further mods done in our own work shop.

Took this quick snap the other day in West Perth. Not sure which operator it is. Crappy pic i know... taken in a hurry while stopped at a red light, dirty windscreen and all  .
