1 call a day on average not bad, good to see the sub centre looking at different ways to generate income though.

the income is a benefit but over the long term i think more people will be a bigger benefit? Some of the people that start as PTV only may decide "I can do that!" and become vollie A/O's instead.

The PTV looks in pretty good condition. Is there any plans on replacing the black/whites with mercs.

Yes, we've got a brand new yellow and green on order eta Sept/Oct 08.
Also a second hand merc so that we can do a clean swap to all 3 mercs.

Nah, $16,000 So we jumped at it.
A few weeks later we were given a community donation that covered costs plus a bit more, so really great all round.
The photo is from prior to getting it, now fitted with Ally roo bar and spotties (roo country) and for the First Aid Post side of things we have fitted it with removable awnings, engel fridge and onboard power like a caravan.

A good thing to do, if you have pics of the station, is to look for a building (on the satellite view) with a similar roof structure. Mark that as the centre (right click on the building, select mark as centre) then revert back to the map view. The use that page as your link.
