Saw Rescue 65 travelling north about the beach line when i was in Mt Lawley 2nd ave, and short while later saw it again traveling from direction of Muchea towards west side of the city about 3000 ft 1515
Spotted Rescue 65 at a distance, appeared to cross south of PA and possibly South of the City, then lost sight of it. I never heard anything on Scanner.

I've seen a largish red and white chopper flying low over Swanbourne a lot lately. Somebody today told me it was a SAR but it doesn't look like the R65 chopper in the video posted in this thread. I have no idea what make or model. Any ideas or pics I can check out to ID the one I saw?

A red and white chopper can either be the RAAF rescue chopper if it's here on a visit or most likely the Helicopters Australia chopper used for general charter.
