I heard on the radio news this afternoon that there had been a MVA on Indian ocean Drive just south of jurian involving a car & caravan. It might have been attending that.kyeboi wrote:rescue 65 just flew over the quinns rocks area heading back to perth anyone know what he was upto?

Re: RESCUE 65 Observations
I'm only guessing, but despite being a separate arm of the emergency services to the Police, it may have been designated R65 to eliminate confusion with the Police aircraft Polair 61, 62, 63 etc.pacestick wrote:Can anyone explain the Rescue 65 Callsign I know the 6 is for the Region but unsure on the 5...

Re: RESCUE 65 Observations
Well, Rescue 65 flew over , it flew to Jurien Bay at 5:30pm for a traffic accident. I also saw it fly overhead on the return. One thing about Rescue 65 is you can hear it approaching long before you see it. An unmistakeable sound.kyeboi wrote:Rescue 655 just flew over Quinn's rocks heading south anyone got any info
