Does anybody have infos or even better pics of Patient Transport Vehicles here in WA?
Don't really have any clue about them, apart from the fact that they do the NEPT (non emergency pationt transport) side of things, of course.
What is the training standard of the drivers?
Where are they stationed? Only metro or country as well?
Is there a 24hr service?
What are the orange Lights on the vehicles for?
Are they all Mercs, or are there any other vehicle types floating around?
Are any going to be replaced soon - will the new Sprinter be used?
Phew. Heaps of Q's. Cheers for any info

They are stationed across most of the Metro Area depos.... - I know that Ozzie Park has at least 4 - PT vehicles in the shed... - So they are spread around.
The orange lights - are just normal amber lights - They are used when a PT vehicle is stationary - kinda like a secondary "Hazard Lights" - activated when you need to be visible to traffic - Those sorts of lights don't get you through red lights - at VFAS - Our Mercs have the same Orange lights - and they help us with moving through crowded areas or otherwise.
As far as I am aware, PT vehicles are all Mercs - Unsure at this stage if the new Sprinters will be used as PT as well....
Hope this helps..
