If you watch ABCTV News tonight (29-8 7pm) you might see a story with lots of shots of Ambulances at both Charlies and RPH from today. A very bedragled auntys_eyes had to stand out in the pouring rain for an hour or so this arvo and now wet and grumpy :( .

Were any of our SJA members at Charlies or RPH this arvo laughing at a sorry looking cammo walking around in the rain :?:

Cheers Mr G :D

bomber - Spot on mate. Story is to do with 'ramping' and overcrowded EDs (again  ). Apparently last night was particularly bad at Charlies and RPH, although there were 7 buses at RPH when i was there around 14:30 today. AMA press conference today to highlight issues.

Hey aunty,

I was standing outside RPH ED about 3pm grabbing some pics.

Sadly I didn't see any media vehicles.

Unfortunately ramping is an ongoing issue that is not getting any better. I resigned from my job last week partly due to the pressure in ED. It's actually unsafe for the patients and the staff. And what's being done? Sweet FA as usual

DAMN, left RPH just after 2.30. It appears we would have just missed each other. What a bugger. :(
