Hey guys,
Tried playing around with the stickied frequencies but so far haven't come across any transmissions. Anyone know the frequency they use in Bunbury?
Cheers,

All country career stations (including Bunbury, Collie, Busselton and Australind) use mobiles for all dispatch and communications to 6DS. If you do happen to here them which is very infrequent, it would be 2 ambulances chatting (usually about what was for tea, or how far are you from the hospital so we can have coffee) or it will be the volunteer first aid crew nattering at an event.
A non event real. Some vollie stations are dispatched over the 2way but this is rare since the advent of spectrum phone systems.

ok then....greater bunbury resources:
MANNED STATIONS 24/7
bunbury - 1 x 24 hr paramedic crew
australind - 1 - 24 hr full vollie crew (station manned all most of the time)
collie - 1 x 24 hr paramedic/volunteer crew
bussselton - 1 x 24 hr paramedic/volunteer crew
UNMANNED STATIONS
brunswick - 2 vans
harvey - 3 vans
capel - 1 van
donnybrook - 2 vans
although they have more than 1 van, most vollie crews "roster" a duty crew and can form a backup if required, or backup from closest town is done by HQ

Hi Ambul8
We were turned out to a Traffic Crash two persons trapped near Collie the other week :. When we were there we noticed that the first van on scene had two paramedic and the second van had two vollies , has there been a change ? When were back on station we were wondering why ? Both vans were from Collie .
Cheers Wez

2 full timers as main response paramedics, 2 vollies as backup if more assistance required. I suppose much like sending 2 crews from 2 different stations to an MVA, if the first arriving crew needs help, then another crew is hopefully just around the corner.

yer roger , basicly i hear harvey quite alot, they are very busy , i hear waroona as well, but i dont hear bunbury on the vhf system. very strange, bunbury and everyone are linked to 6ds , the dunbrough ambulance repeater feeds harvey to me down here in margaret river, but bunbury, if harvey is befor bunbry then we should hear bunbry talking down here but we dont. strange, becuase there is a wall between the margaret river and dunbrough repeater but accoding to theacma website, they are both ment to be linked??? mayby the linking unit on either the margs or dunsbrough have broken down.wayne wrote:The only frequencies i've hear active here in Bunbury are 413.850Mhz, 412.750Mhz Harvey & Capel and Busselton on 78.7625Mhz.
Metro 413.425 Mhz comes through loud and clear 24/7
augusta can talk to margaret river ambualnce. i havnt heard busselton talk yet opn the 78 mhz band. however , down at the busselton hospital there is another repeater that i can hear donny brook on.???

St Johns in Bunbury
It has taken some time but I have found the freq as used in and around the Bunbury area, monitor 78.650 for activity - as I found it's not the most busy to listen to but "COUNTRY MOBILE" is heard as well as Australind, Bunbury and others.
