Had an Ambulance come up behind me on the freeway last night with a very, very bright white LED light in the middle of the light bar, not seen one like this before.

I think it's a great idea as it makes the ambo's even more obvious on the road, in fact it was visible and noticeable from a couple of k's behind me...

Been around for some time, even the old Rotor bars had white strobes in the center.

The strobes used to be a killer for the eyes when driving at night.

Mmmm, I know what your are talking about as I've seen them also but not like this, they are not strobes it is a white LED bar light..

There are two types of LED bars getting around, one is All white with the LED's being coloured.

The other is Red and Blue tips with the center being white.

From what I have seen all the bars since the introduction of the Sprinters have had white lights in the center.

Red and blue light bars are sold under agreements with the state government.

If you are looking for an amber one, Nava or Hella do them, most truck accessories shops will have them.
