Hi all,
Just wondering if the ambulance sirens sound as loud inside the ambulance as they do outside it
Thanks

At a guess, im going to say no. the siren is aimed forwards.
saying that, In the fire trucks if you have the windows down it is still pretty loud, wind the window up and it is
considerably quieter.

Hi Gents, the latest ambo sirens are louder than the MkIV ambulances. NRA555, yes you are correct being directional and facing forward.
Though they are much louder in the cab now.

Rule always was if the one a priortity one windows must be up to keep the noise levels within the cab down for workplace health and safety reasons
