Post by paramedicpathway » Sun Feb 05, 2012 10:01 am

Hi all,

Just wondering if the ambulance sirens sound as loud inside the ambulance as they do outside it :)

Thanks :)

At a guess, im going to say no. the siren is aimed forwards.
saying that, In the fire trucks if you have the windows down it is still pretty loud, wind the window up and it is
considerably quieter.

Hi Gents, the latest ambo sirens are louder than the MkIV ambulances. NRA555, yes you are correct being directional and facing forward.
Though they are much louder in the cab now.
