Still what is the law in regards to maximum Kilometers before a emergency must be decommissioned.

A mate told me in passing that SJA decommission there ambulance after 150,000 to 160,000 is this true.
Kyle it is totally irrelevant as to klms on a vehicle if the driver is driving to his and the vehicles capabilities.
Ambulances have crashed with less that 1000klms on them. Drivers tend to push too much and expect that these vehicles will protect them.

Kyle - Ambulance maintenance is always paramount for any service. If what you are saying is that ALAS does not correctly maintain their vehicles then I hear you brother.
Staff safety should always come before a companies profit. When I was there, vehicle maintenance was more critical than any job that could be done at ALAS. Shame if they have let these core values slip, and I do not condone any action like this.
I start to wonder from what I am reading and hearing about ALAS, in what direction they are heading. It would be a shame if this business started to let some of the standards drop!!!![Crying or Very sad ](./images/smilies/icon_cry.gif)
