is there such thing as a professional ambulance service?
Off course there is. One that has standards, procedures , policies, training, excellent customer service and keeps their employees happy.. & delivers High Standard Patient Care & more . In the end employees can make a difference, when management and alike work towards common goals. , as I am going to do so..
thats where i was getting at Kyle , as you well know employees can make a difference, but sometimes for the worse, just like management.
Cant you guys leave one thread in the ambulance section for the purpose of scanning issues rather than hijacking everything with wingeing about politics.
Make a politics thread like in the FESA section so that way we dont have to keep checking this thread in case something interesting has been posted. Didnt you get the hint from the ALAS thread being closed?

Also this will be my last post on Warsug, as I think I have said enough & been hammered for it. However best to be upfront and open and honest to the fact to protect the patient from harms way.
I advise those who are new to the industry to tread carefully volunteering/ or studying as a student officer if you want a career (yes people can get very jealous) and influence the recruitment process in WA, stay off the radar and safe. What ever you do don't cross paths with a Political Bastards as even if they are blatantly wrong, morally ethically, they always will pull rank and win
I know first hand how badly you can get burnt by ignorant peasants and career vultures
I can be PM though, and I wish all those working towards careers as a paramedic [no matter which service], a great career, a happy work place, ongoing development and many years of happiness. Remember to stamp out corruption and workplace rumor mongers & bullies .
PFO, Herpes & Musketeer you are always welcome over my house for a Beer. Cheers Mates.. These three are truly great individuals & a credit to the industry. Also my close mates, you know who you are good luck and cya soon for a Round or Two
Stand By 89

Didn't take him long to give up and encourage his mates to sell out.

I'm sure he wasn't advocating any sellout, just feels good when u stop bashing your head against a metaphoric brick wall
Did anyone get to meet his mum? Is she hot - even though I know she had arthritis?
Just the sort of intellect i was expecting to see. Its interesting to note that particular users seem to be castigated, but most if not all on warsug have had a go at someone on this site, ie the realfirie saga in which many had a go, so it cannot be one rule for some and not for others. Lets just get over it and move on. You havent met kyle and that sort of comment is simply low by anyones standard.
I think internet bullying is the new in thing now which the government have put funds towards stamping it out.
Regardless off that.
Kyle is merely dissapointed that as he is passionate about patient care is frustrated in how the system works in W.A and that some individuals and another organisation can get away with it.
Example:
ALAS management putting pressure on certain not qualifed enough individuals to transport patients WAY outta there control (please note this is only management not current staff working) failing to pay correct wages and not paying money owed. No one is interested in listening to the complaints so i can feel for the guy in this way.
SJA bullying inregards to a persons race and then one person going out of his way to ruin a guys chance off becoming a patient transport officer and who knows maybe a paramedic in the future, im actually surprised this went on down at mandurah, and surprised at the persons who did it.
But we all know what happens in the truck stays in the truck you cause a ripple kiss your future good bye.
I guess feeling frustrated sometimes you have an outburst like he did, he is a decent guy.
Well said both PFO and MMW. Frustration it would be and don't ever think it only happens in Mandurah. Paramedics relieve all over the state and come into contact with many volies within which contact they can do irrepairable damage
