Rescue 65 frequency

Post by Genesis »

Is there a frequency that one can listen to when wanting to know what Rescue 65 is up to? It flies over my house many times each week and I am curious what it is doing or where it is going.

Rescue 65 is a Civilian Aircraft and flights are controlled by the dept of ATC. The Helicopter R65 issues flight directions via FESA to where it is flying to or from with Time arrivals, under the control of SJA.

If I am not totally correct here, some one else will clarify.

The question was:

so you are way off the mark with that answer.

I am not way out with my answer, it is correct if you intelengly read the answer. I simply did not quote FESA Channels which are 78.100, 78.325 & 413.125 ..

Rescue 65 just landed at Jandakot 1312

Rescue 65 departed jandakot for north of Williams on Albany Hwy at 1920 south of Boddington, R65 had to call a SES mobile phone for location and landing details.

Rescue 65 just landed back at Jandakot at 2210

Rescue 65 does not have a police radio and can not talk direct with WApolice, except on a selected Fesa Channel. was stated tonight by 6AR during a convo with R65.

That has always been the case, I'm pretty sure. They can talk through the old analogue shared channels with SES though.
