Fire is now at an Emergency Warning stage for the houses in the north-west area of the Gnangara Pine Plantation - Meadowlands Road, Timely Hostess Mews, Via Vista Road, Zest Court, Seminara Place, Lord Meselle Place, Boundary Road and Neaves Road.

This fire is being managed by DPaW since it started in their land.

As well as DPaW, crews from the cities of Swan and Wanneroo and the Shire of Chittering are there that I've heard. There's probably a bunch of others that I haven't.

Old news by now but today there was a third alarm bushfire in Ellenbrook to the west of the Malvern Springs Primary School in the area that will one day have the Perth-Darwin Highway built through it.

The sand was hungry. Very hungry. Units getting bogged left right and centre.
