Bushfire EMERGENCY WARNING issued for the Parkerville fire.

A bushfire EMERGENCY WARNING has been issued for people in the eastern part of Parkerville in the Shire of Mundaring.

You are in danger and need to act immediately to survive. There is a threat to lives and homes.
The alert level for this fire has been upgraded.
The fire started between Johnson Road and Granite Road. It is burning towards Stoneville Road.

BUSHFIRE BEHAVIOUR:

The bushfire is moving fast in a south easterly direction.
It is out of control and unpredictable.
Burning embers are likely to be blown around your home. Spot fires are starting up to 100 metres ahead of the fire.
Flames are 20 metres high.
This means homes east of Parkerville (suburb/area) may be threatened by the fire.

Yep and the emergency warning has been changed from "leave immediately" to "it's too late to go, you need to shelter in place".

Urgent request for an ambulance for a firefighter with a bee sting at the Parkerville fire.

Fire to the West of the main Parkerville fire, near intersection of Oxley Rd and Alexandra Rd.
Parkerville Control has requested this to be treated as separate to the main fire.
