This thread is predominantly for third alarm and above bush fires however if it is a significant fire (ie threatening homes and businesses) that is at least second alarm then it will be acceptable. If it's not one of those things then post it in one of the other, more appropriate threads.

Remember also that quoting others has been disabled in this thread and WILL NOT WORK.

Please keep the posts to factual information - not rumour, hearsay, possibilities, theories etc. Also keep the information brief and to the point.

Questions about what is going on, who is turning out, why someone isn't turning out etc should be done in the general fire discussions thread.

And one other thing to remember - every post (including this one) gets sent out via Twitter so anything that's snarky or off-topic is broadcast for the world to see... Not really a good impression for the forum.
