Significant bush fires 2012/13

This thread is predominantly for third alarm and above bush fires however if it is a significant fire (ie threatening homes and businesses) that is at least second alarm then it will be acceptable. If it's not one of those things then post it in one of the other, more appropriate threads.

Remember also that quoting others has been disabled in this thread and WILL NOT WORK.

Please keep the posts to factual information - not rumour, hearsay, possibilities, theories etc. Also keep the information brief and to the point.

Questions about what is going on, who is turning out, why someone isn't turning out etc should be done in the general fire discussions thread.

3rd alarm plus up at Guilderton. Appliances are being released now, and FESA says the fire is contained but not under control yet. Also Water bombers were used and Helitac 671 was up as support (Does not have the water tank fitted)

So far I have heard Guilderton, Waneroo, West Swan.

Swan ICV being sent to Bullsbrook fire under Emergency conditions East gidge 12.2 being sent too.

Fire Airfield rd x Brand Hwy Muchea. Requesting the Hwy to be closed. 1230pm
Muchea, Gig Gin South, Muchea FCO.
Bullsbrook LT 4 turning out 1247
Pretty limited info coming through at the moment.
1248 Upper Chittering LT2 turning out
1249 Bullsbrook 3.4 turning out
1250 669,670, 682 turning out to the fire. and using channel 644
1258 GinGin south Dep dep saying 40ha burnt at the moment.
Bomber 604,607,608,609
Swan CFM turning out at 1302
DO North East turning out 1304
1311 fire is contained
