Any idea if that was the factory itself or one of the shops?

For info, the fire location is on a side street almost right at the corner of Roe Hwy and Nicholson Road. Pretty much directly opposite the back of Whaleback Golf Course.

Main Roads traffic advisory states:

ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO CHEMICAL INCIDENT IN COULSON WAY, CANNING VALE

There has been a chemical incident from a building fire in Canning Vale on Coulson Way.

Smoke and fumes have impacted the area and as a result the following road closures have been made:

Roe Highway / Kenwick Link
High Road / Nicholson Road
Willeri Drive / Roe Highway
Bannister Road / Nicholson Road

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and seek alternative routes.

There's also this photo on Facebook, courtesy of the "Emergency AUS" mobile phone app's page.
