Heres the link to get to the police and fire services.

http://www.radioreference.com/apps/audio/?ctid=4907

job codes for the fire service

http://coolisit.tripod.com/id6.html

truck number lookup

http://coolisit.tripod.com/id7.html

I'd say at the moment the fire service is a lot more interesting to listen into that the police.

Lets hope the situation doesnt get too much worse

The QLD firecom feed has gone offline as of 1500 local. I hope the 'feeder' is ok.

They've cut a lot of suburbs power as a precaution, also possible their ISP got hit I guess.

Hi all, just a suggestion, if you haven't already, to please donate to the Queensland Flood victims appeal. Would be a great idea for WARSUG members to help those less fortunate than ourselves :)

In the article it mentions.
specialised search and rescue team from WA’s Fire and Emergency Services Authority has flown to Queensland to help with the flood relief effort.

The four-strong Urban Search and Rescue team flew out of Perth last night after a request from Queensland authorities.
I've closed the door!

I noticed that the article had been updated to include that information after my post.
